The person behind LohTech.

Mostly curiosity, a tendency to pull things apart, and a preference for understanding why something works before deciding it is good enough.

I tend to get interested in how things work long before I worry about whether I am supposed to be the person working on them.

Professionally, I lead technical work and spend a lot of time helping people make complicated systems and processes easier to understand, operate and improve.

I am at my best when the problem is a little unclear.

Give me something that grew organically, a process nobody quite understands anymore, or a problem that crosses boundaries, and I will usually want to pull it apart until the pieces make sense. From there, I look for the simplest practical way to make it better.

Outside work, the subject changes constantly: machines, electronics, RC, drones, home projects, technology, philosophy, property and whatever else becomes interesting enough to investigate properly.

I like strong teams, thoughtful disagreement, practical experimentation and people who ask good questions. I care about quality and reliability, but I am equally interested in whether the way we have always done something still deserves to exist.

The subject changes. The curiosity does not.
